                Fargo Professional ID Systems are now shipping with AsureID 2009 Express and with a high-end webcam for easier use.  New part numbers were created to capture the upgrades to the systems.

           By bundling reliable card printer/encoders with Asure ID® software, materials and accessories, HID offers customers a highly productive system that not only personalize credentials, but efficiently manages the entire issuance process. Below are the part numbers for the newly updated Fargo Printer systems

Use with Direct Card Printers. They are ideal for small- to large-volume application and constructed of high-quality, image-grade materials.

Direct Image PVC Overlays
Direct Image PVC Overlays personalize access cards and adheres finished I.D. badges with Prox and Wiegand^® Cards, turning them into multipurpose cards. Cost recycling existing, expensive access control cards. The pressure-sensitive backing is removed, and the overlay is applied to the access card. No die cutting or lamination required. Available in 10-, 14-, and 24-mm thickness in Credit Card (2 effective and economical, Direct Image Overlays can be used in repairing or 1/8" x 3 3/8", 54 x 86 mm) and slightly undersized (2 1/6" x 3 5/16", 52 x 84 mm).

Direct Image Cards—General Purpose
Available in three different card types: Standard 100% PVC, Extended Life PVC, and Long-Life PVC.

Standard 100% PVC Cards are the most economical choice. They are available in 10- and 30-mm  thicknesses in Credit Card Size (2 1/8" x 3 3/8" 54 x 86 mm) with or without magnetic strip.Extended Life and Long Life Cards also available.

The HDP film is then fused to the card   through heat and pressure via a heated roller.
